Kraken re-sign Cale Fleury, Kole Lind to short term deals

The Kraken continue to avoid ever having to deal with Arbitration, as they were able get Cale Fleury signed before his arbitration date, getting him inked on a 2-year, $800,000 AAV contract.

Fleury has been a dependable 7th defenseman for Seattle, and I don’t see that changing much in the immediate future.

They were also able to extend Kole Lind a contract for one year, worth $775,000.

Lind largely spent his time in the AHL with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, where he had a very strong season: 62 points in 72 games, and leading the entire AHL playoffs in points; being a staple of the Firebird’s inaugural playoff run. I imagine he’ll probably return there and be on call to join the Kraken if there’s an injury.

Welcome back Kole and Cale back to THE DEEP
