The Kraken followed up their pick of Eduard Sale today with a Barrie, Ontario native by the name of Carson Rehkopf!
Carson got to where he is by being a prototypical power forward; while not the biggest guy in the draft, he sure plays like he’s almost 200 lbs; getting right up in the face of puck-carriers, having an absolute cannon of a shot, and a shocking amount of speed for a kid his size. As a result? He’s a hard man to knock off the puck, and he’s a difficult prospect to try and keep it away from. The only real thing he needs to work on is getting all of that to click night-in, night-out because sometimes in spite of all his work, he can have a goose egg on the scoresheet.
