The Kraken selected a Belarusian-born player, that’s fun! Meet Andrei Loshko, currently playing in the QMJHL for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies!
Loshko is primarily a playmaker who came into his own with Chicoutimi; having an incredible season with the Sagueneens in a 70 point in 67 game season. His best attributes are largely his big hockey brain which he uses to do big hockey plays; he’s constantly looking for a great pass, an outlet to create a breakout, a way past the defense…and he usually finds it. Combine that with some excellent skating? There’s a real sleeper here. Just uh…don’t expect too many call ups to his national team due to the uh…well…[gestures at eastern europe].
Maybe he can get Latvian citizenship if he wants to go back to the World Juniors?
Either way, please welcome Andrei to THE DEEP
