Cephalopods don’t even have bones how the s#!t is this happening-

Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and the Seattle Kraken received some gruesome news today; that their french forward will be on the mend for the foreseeable future, and miss the Winter Classic with a leg fracture; per Geoff Baker of the Seattle Times.

Bellemare left Tuesday’s game against the Stars in the 2nd period due to a lower body injury.

Also per-Baker in the article, the Kraken are up to 72 Man-Games lost due to injury, which is less than last years around this time, though a part of why Joonas Donskoi being on eternal LTIR. This has been yet another wrench in Dave Hakstol’s plans for the year, and will likely be an extended chance for Kole Lind to make something of what is likely to be extended time on the team.

So until mid-January at the very earliest, we will await Bellemare’s return and wish him well on his recovery.
