Kraken’s 2023-24 Schedule Released!

As per NHL Tradition (at this point anyway), the schedules for each team have been released one day before the draft, and that includes Seattle’s!

Preseason begins at the end of September, which leads into the Kraken’s regular season, going on a week-long road trip to watch Vegas raise their banner (barf.) and check in on Nashville and St. Lous, leading to their first home game on October 17th against Colorado.

The Kraken wisely tend to avoid major holidays with the noted exception of New Years day, where they’ll be playing Out of Doors at T-Mobile Park against the Golden Knights for the Winter Classic.

The Kraken will largely alternate between two-three game homestands and being on the road, with March being the Month of Climate Pledge, as they spend nearly the entire part of the calendar at home. There’s also a pretty long homestand in the middle of December that goes from the 7th to the 16th. They also only have seven back-to-backs with minimal travel in-between, so they haven’t been completely screwed by the schedule makers this year.

Overall, decent schedule, let’s hope that the instilled familiarity with Home this season makes it a more comfortable environment to win in; I liked the Road Warrior Kraken, but I feel like the Seattle faithful deserve a few more wins to watch live!

Save your dates, I know for certain I will be!
