The Seattle Kraken will not have winger André Burakovsky for the playoffs, as he had surgery to address a “recurring lower-body injury,” according to GM Ron Francis last night. Burakovsky had 13 goals and 26 assists in 49 games this season.

In good injury news, goalie Joey Daccord has been sent back to Coachella Valley, indicating that Martin Jones is healthy. Jones left the game on Saturday, April 8th against the Blackhawks and was not available for the third period.

The Kraken await their first-round playoff opponent depending on the outcome of tonight’s Colorado/Nashville game. If Colorado wins, that’s who Seattle will play. If Colorado loses, Seattle plays Dallas.
