Know your Enemy

  • Jack Eichel is still really good; he leads the Knights in points and goals: 26 points in 21 games, 11 of whom are goals.
  • Right behind him in goals is Reilly Smith, who’s got 10 goals in 21 games.
  • Oh hey Logan Thompson has help now. He’s got a .925 SV% and his buddy Adin Hill is currently nursing a .909 SV%.

Game Preview

Happy post-turkey day, everybody! I hope your sandwiches are tasty.

Anyway, here’s once again the meter stick: The Knights regretfully remain the undisputed kings of the West until proven otherwise; 7-2-1 in their last 10, best goal differential in the conference, yet again a banger team in terms of expected goals-for and high danger shot attempts for, and once again the measuring stick, one the Kraken have routinely had trouble getting over, whether because they had help from refs...or because the Knights are still really good.

Thankfully, the Kraken are also coming into this game having beaten the San Jose Sharks in one of the most buckwild contests they’ve played this year, and are riding into this game on a 3-game win streak. If they had to finally get their win over the Knights, now would be the perfect time to do it.

Will the Kraken have to wait to clear their bar? Or will Knight Time fall to The Deep?

We’ll find out at 5!
