Versatile Defenseman Mahura Doesn’t Know If Kraken Want Him Back

@Jennthulhu_Photos

If Josh Mahura had his way, the defenseman would return to the Seattle Kraken next season. But he knows it’s not primarily up to him.

The one-year contract Mahura signed with the Kraken for league minimum last July is expiring. He provided reliable blueline play, averaging 13:45 TOI and finishing +5 in 62 games. Especially after Will Borgen was traded in December, the acquisition of the former Duck and Panther proved essential.

Also in Mahura’s favor is that he can slot in at both right and left defense, as he explains in this Kraken Reaction.
