So! The Torrent’s start to the year has been….less than ideal.
2 games in, Seattle has struggled to keep their offensive might moving in the way it wants to; it got very, very close in the season opener, but then laid kind of a goose-egg against the Minnesota Frost.
Taking on the Sirens, who are in roughly the same tier of talent as the Frost so far this year; is going to be a great opportunity for the Torrent to not just find their footing, but find their first win. The first step is figuring out Kayle Osborne; who’s nursing a .949 SV% through three games.
Already the PNW is sort of subverting expectations in the worst way in the PWHL; it would be nice if the American side of the western expansion could get the ball rolling in the right direction.
