For someone who only turned 21 in January, Shane Wright’s hockey travels prior to this season have been far and wide.
Ontario junior teams in Kingston and Windsor; a detour to Halifax and Moncton for the 2023 World Junior Championships; two separate stops in Coachella Valley, CA to play with the AHL Firebirds; two cups of coffee with the Kraken.
Finally, in 2024-25, his patience, and the Kraken’s confidence in him, were rewarded. Wright played 79 games, all with the big club, scoring 19 goals. Shane speaks about the value of stability in this Kraken Reaction.
