Well after getting pantsed in Dallas, let’s see if the Squids can survive their Blue period in St. Louis.
The Blues are one of those teams that’s usually present and accounted for in the top 3 of the Central since their decision to pull the ripcord and build toward their Stanley Cup victory not too long ago, and it looks like they’ll be right there as per usual. They’re 7-2-1 in their last 10, and they’re riding some excellent play from Jordan Kyrou and a resurgent Vlad Tarasenko and a strong first season in Pavel Buchnevich. This team is good, and they’re gonna stay good until told otherwise.
The Kraken meanwhile, should mostly try to get Jordan McCann to the All-Star Game and consider scouting out some prospect systems along the way; I hear the Blues have some interesting talent kicking around…
