The Kraken get the weekend off before they continue the rest of their homestand…but before that break, they need to play the Edmonton Oilers, who once again are host to the world-breaking talent that may or may not make their way to the Olympics this year. We don’t know. It’s….weird.
The Oilers have been actually going through a bit of a cool streak since the Kraken last participated in hockey with them…which means of course they’ve actually won closer games and lost a couple in the time it’s taken the Kraken to begin working up the courage to flirt with .500. Some teams have all the luck.
Anyway, the Kraken will be seeing new guy goaltender Stuart Skinner, who’s put up some impressive numbers in spite of his defense’s incompetence in front of him.
