Ah, our dear neighbor due north. It’s gonna be so nice to reacquaint ourselves with our inevitable frustrations.
Not much to report on them, I’m afraid. They’ve yet to win a game in the preseason yet which, as we know, doesn’t effect standings and it’s been largely a bunch of AHLers and teenagers being fed to split squads…but still, it’s a bit unusual just how rough they’ve been. Oh well, that means theoretically an easier beat!*
* = I make no guarantees of an easy Seattle Kraken game because those have, for the most part, never happened.
It will not however, mark the return of Carson Soucy to Seattle just yet, as the Canucks’ Roster for today suggests. Their roster in general seems to have a good number of their NHLers on it, just without the game breakers. As for Seattle, they’ll be countering with some of their own vets; Bjorkie’s back, Burakovsky makes his return, and of course…it will be Turbo Time. Plus rookies! A good mix today.
Anyway, the game’s on KONG tonight, so let’s kick back, relax, and enjoy a little preseason puck while trying real hard not to get too worked up about the weekend series with the Rangers.
