I do not mean this lightly. Hawke Huff might be in the top 10 of names in this draft, and there are some good names in this draft.
Huff comes to us from the Cedar Rapids Roughriders in the USHL, where he stands at 6’3, 198 pounds. He’s an overager, but he’s definitely built for pro hockey at this stage. How he handles the next step, playing for St. Thomas in the NCAA, remains to be seen.
But I mean, any time you can draft someone by the name of Hawke Huff, you gotta do it.
