Game Preview

Welcome back! We once again bring you…a very sickly group of Squids.

Seattle is in the midst of a 3 game losing streak with each L bringing fans to a new level of frustration each time, so at least they can annoy you in variety.

Today, the Panthers are their hosts. The Panthers? They are paying in blood for their cup runs, with an injured reserve list and day-to-day list that would fill half a ward in a hospital, and even worse: mission critical players are hurt or have been hurt all year. I’m sure the Florida faithful arent worried, but this season increasingly feels like a “What If?” for the Cats: the worst kind.

Because otherwise? They’ve still got a little bit of what made them so dangerous previously. They have a stranglehold on the puck, they’re absolutely crushing when it comes to physicality, and they make you pay for every single mistake. Thats still in their game.

The difference? They cant stop giving up goals. Testing Bobrovsky or Tarasov is all important for this game, and that means actually getting shots in goal: no more sailing shots into the stands when you have a clear shot. These are beatable goalies, so beat them.

LETS GO KRAKEN, LETS GO SQUIDS
