Kraken Prospect Highlights

TSN Screengrab
Team Canada: Forward Berkly Catton certainly wasn’t shy, with six SOG in 13:05 of ice time. From the IIHF game story: “The Canadians failed to cash in on two power plays in the second half of the middle frame. Berkly Catton had a fabulous opportunity right in front of Rimpinen, but the Finnish goalie said no.” Forward Carson Rehkopf didn’t play.
Defenseman Caden Price was +2, playing 14:51 and contributing a pretty assist on Canada’s second goal (video below).

Team Finland: Forward Julius Miettinen played 17:57, had four SOG, and took a “good” tripping penalty which prevented a scoring chance in close. Later, his backcheck prevented another Canada scoring opportunity, with TSN commentators impressed with his “closing speed and then some.”
Backup goalie Kim Saarinen didn’t play.
Team Czechia: Forward and Czech captain Eduard Sale scored a 2nd period power play goal (video below) on one of his two SOGs, and played 18:22. 78 seconds after Sale’s goal, forward Jakub Fibigr contributed an assist on Czechia’s third goal, to go with two SOGs, and was +2 in 16:01 of ice time.
Team Sweden: Forward Zeb Forsfjall played 14:27.
