Furness On Joining Kraken TV: ‘An Opportunity To Do Something I Love’

Ian Furness knows about navigation; he hosts a midday sports show on KJR-FM which was recently expanded to three hours. Furness also knows about big events; he’s covered Super Bowls for Fox-13.

Now, he’ll put those piloting skills to use for the new Kraken Hockey Network, hosting most of the 72 regular season broadcasts shown locally on KONG-TV 6/16 and KING-5, as well as stations throughout Washington, Oregon and Alaska.

In the first of a four-part Kraken Reaction conversation, Furness explains why he was willing to give up his Seahawks TV duties to be a charter member of KHN.
