The Kraken are juggling things again in light of the André Burakovsky injury on Tuesday, when he left the game after playing only 21 seconds with a non-contact injury.

Burakovsky is the team’s leading scorer with 13 goals and 26 assists.

Him leaving so early seemed to contribute to the Kraken’s overall disjointedness against the Islanders, as their lines were in a blender all night long trying to account for losing one of their top players. This is a significant loss if Burakovsky isn’t able to come back soon.

Forward John Hayden has been called up from Coachella Valley with Burakovsky on IR. He has one goal in four games with the Kraken this season.

In good news, defenseman Justin Schultz, who has missed the last six games, has been activated off IR and should be ready to play.

Also of injury note: Devils breakout superstar Jack Hughes will not play tonight, as he is week-to-week with an upper-body injury.
