Matty Beniers: missing at least two games
After this garbage hit from Tyler Meyers, Matty Beniers will miss at least the Calgary game Friday and the Columbus game Saturday.
It is unclear if he will miss his first All-Star game.

Adding insult to injury (literally) is Matty is going to miss his own bobblehead night this Saturday. AHL call-up John Hayden is expected to get the nod in the lineup.
No Matty Beniers on ice, after the call-up of Max McCormick from Coachella Valley. Kraken morning skate, vs. Flames, 1/27:

The Canucks/Kraken rivalry always felt a little forced to me, but after the Tyler Myers hit, there is real, legitimate bad blood. Hopefully Beniers is okay. He took a pretty hard hit on his head and concussions can be real scary.
Justin Schultz: on injured reserve
The #SeaKraken have recalled forward Max McCormick from the Coachella Valley @Firebirds.

Additionally, the team has placed defenseman Justin Schultz on IR. pic.twitter.com/aiqqDoiapU
Defenseman Justin Schultz, who has not played since January 17th, has been placed on injured reserve.
Max McCormick, the Coachella Valley Firebirds captain and leading scorer, has been called up.
Two games, then a much-needed nine days of rest until the next game. Here’s hoping for a healthy Kraken team down the stretch as they try to secure a playoff spot.
