Kraken Game 71 GAMETHREAD: Vs. Chicago

Once again...The Kraken play the Blackhawks.

Forgive our antipathy, but the Blackhawks do not deserve the normal amount of effort that we get from these.

Instead, we’ll be talking about how UMichigan, filled to the brim with NHL Prospects, got upset by the University of Denver in the Frozen Four tournament in Boston. While disappointing, it does mean that the Kraken are now in the waning days of playing without someone like Matty Beniers in their lineup, if they so choose to sign him. Regardless of how THIS game begins and ends, there’s a bright future ahead of this team.

...Y’know, he just has to get on the plane back to Ann Arbor to go collect his stuff beforehand.

Oh, and I hope the Kraken win by 30.

Question of the Thread: Chicago’s known for pretty cold weather. What’s the coldest weather you yourself have ever experienced? I had me a -15 in a trip to Maine once. It was bone chilling.
