The first shoe of the Trade Deadline has dropped for the Kraken, as multiple sources are stating that Calle Jarnkrok has been traded to the Calgary Flames for a boatload of draft picks, starting with a 2022 2nd rounder, a 2023 3rd rounder, and a 7th in 2024. The Kraken also happen to have Calgary’s upcoming 4th from an unrelated trade.
Jarnkrok to CAL for a 2nd (Florida's) in 2022, a third iin 2023 and a 7th in 2024. SEA retains 50 per cent. Was a lot of competition for him.

Seattle is retaining 50% of Calle Jarnkrok's salary in the trade with Calgary.

As noted, the Kraken will also be holding half of Jarnkrok’s salary. Given the other trades that happened today, there’s a good chance Mark Giordano will be next.
And he will command a king’s ransom, if everything else is to be believed.
So long, Boi Boi. We’ll miss you, and we hope you get all the success in the world with the Flames!
