POLL: Which members of the Kraken do the fans think will make it through the trade deadline?

It’s the closing days of the NHL trade deadline, and the Kraken are expected to be one of the more active teams in the league this year. They’re well out of a playoff spot, instead competing with Montreal and Arizona for the first overall pick in this year’s NHL Entry Draft, which means they we should expect to see players leaving in exchange for picks and prospects. Seattle also has s significant amount of cap space, which general manager Ron Francis and the Kraken ownership group aren’t opposed to utilizing in a trade.

The core members of the Kraken for the next few seasons are likely set, headlined by Jared McCann and his shiny new 5-year contract extension. That core isn’t huge, though, at least according to our prediction.

Everyone else on the roster is at least worth a phone call to Francis at this point. Some are more likely than others, and last weekend we threw out five names that seem destined to disappear by this coming Monday.

With those names in mind, let’s check in on how our favorite blog readers and twitterers feel about potentially losing some fan favorites.

Let us know how you really feel, and if you’ve got any more guys you think aren’t long to wear the deep sea blue, let us know in the comments.
