We’re shipping up to Boston today to take on the Bruins, who are poised to make the playoffs for the sixth straight year despite losing some key contributors, specifically this guy:
They’ve still got some solid defense though in spite of losing big Z, and the top-6 on the other side can give a team fits on any given night. Brad Marchand is going to get under everyone’s skin, no way around it, so let’s hope the Kraken keep their cool against the pest of all pests. David Pastrnak has already reached the 20-goal plateau (for the 6th straight year) and should blow past the 30-goal mark again this season. And then there’s Taylor Hall, the man who once went in a one-for-one trade with Kraken defender Adam Larsson.
Fortunately the bottom-6 isn’t much to write home about. If the Kraken can limit the scoring from the Bruins’ top line and get their depth scoring going tonight (Karson Kuhlman revenge goal?), they’ve should have a good shot at this one.
