So the Kraken got themselves back in the win column against the Rangers in dramatic fashion on Thursday and now must face one of their more tightly contested foes: the LA Kings…who have got to be steaming mad given the night they had last night, dropping a 4-1 wet fart of a game against our neighbors to the North. Ya hate to see it, truly.
Still, that means a young and hungry team that overtook the Kraken while they were reeling are looking to take two very valuable points from our Squids as a get-right game. A win puts the Kraken back into 2nd place in goal differential. A loss gives LA a much needed buffer from future Kraken incursions. We can't have that.
They'll show off why at 7 tonight.
