This is a matchup the Kraken are probably trying to avoid a bad L to, not that it's been an easy road for Seattle to take: the Caps are GOOD.
Kuznetsov still cooking, their depth coming in clutch. Goaltending has at least stabilized a bit…and Alex Ovechkin. Old man Ovi. Still a total nightmare around the circles. Probably the best goalscorer of his generation.
In short, this could get rough in a hurry if the Kraken don't come out strong.
