1-On-1 With Hilary Knight, PWHL Seattle’s Hockey Royalty

Hilary Knight - Daniel DeLoach/Utica Observer-Dispatch/USA TODAY NETWORK

Hilary Knight’s achievements are unmatched in American women’s hockey. No wonder PWHL Seattle made Knight the first player signed in the expansion team’s history. Just a small portion of the 36-year-old forward’s bio:

“Knight has represented the United States at four-straight Olympics, winning one gold and three silver medals, and at a record 15 IIHF Women’s World Championships, capturing 10 golds and five silvers. She is the tournament’s all-time leader in goals, assists, and points, and holds the record for most Olympic games played by a U.S. women’s hockey player.”

Looks like Hilary’s throwing a sweeper.

With such a decorated resume, Knight was a natural ambassador to introduce Seattle to her league and her new team.

She’s made the rounds this summer – everything from throwing out the first pitch at a Mariners game, to catching a fish at Pike Place Market, to attending a Storm game, to getting an appetizer named after her at a local eatery. And the superstar did a 1-on-1 interview with us.
